Microsoft are constantly updating and adding new contents for their help files. In Visual Studio 2010 you now have a new tool to make sure that you have access to new and updated content at all times. This tool can be found under “Microsoft Visual Studio 2010” > “Visual Studio Tools” > “Manage Help Settings - ENU”

Clicking on this will bring you up with the following menu.

Here you can choose:
- Whether you want online or local help, and if the later then where to store those help files.
- To check to see if there are any new updates available for the files
- To install new content from online or local locations
- To remove content.
If you chose to check for updates it will check your versions against the latest at Microsoft and report back giving you the option of updating them if required.

If you want to add new content then you will be given a screen listing all the available packages and just click on the links to select the files for bulk installation.

Enjoy :)

After quite some time of not having a site up and running I have decieded to set up a new site for this domain. For those who care for such details this site is running on a virtual server running ESXi on a HP Prolient ML115.
